New Clarasonic Mia!

So after about a year of putting it off, I finally sucked it up, went into sephora and got the clarasonic I've wanted for so long! I can only watch so many Youtube videos with my fav makeup gurus raving about this thing for so long! It was a little treat to myself to get this doodad, and I couldn't wait to get home, take my makeup off and try it out! Most of the girls who reviewed the Mia used some sort of foaming cleanser. A popular one being the Aveeno clear complexion foaming cleanser. I didn't pick that one up because it has salicylic acid in its ingredients and I don't quite like that as it can be quite drying. I thought the Olay one worked really well. It is true what they say, your skin has never felt as clean as it does after you cleanse your skin with the clarasonic. It left my face feeling smooth (despite the breakout bumps I had goin on) and clean and I could feel no residue left on my skin, but I didn't feel stripped at all either. I don't often use a toner, I only swab a toner on my face on nights when I felt I really needed to get a cleaner feel which isn't necessary anymore with the Mia! I really wanted the Mia 2 which offers 2 speeds, however the rep at sephora told me that Canada doesn't have any Mia 2's as of yet and I would be best off with the Mia if I travel a lot (which I do) since its small and compact and easy to tote with me. It was $125 CAD and it came with a trial size Clarasonic brand cleanser, the charger, a brush cap, and a sensitive head brush which was perfect for me. There are different brush heads. The one I am interested in is the deep pore cleansing brush. I'll probably pick that up in 2 weeks or so so my clarasonic family can be complete. Reviews have said that after about a week of using the Mia, that their skin is glowing, smooth and less prone to breakouts. Using the Mia also helps your skin absorb products better, so if you intend to use a night serum, moisturizer, or breakout cream, your skin will be more open to take in the ingredients thus making it more effective due to such clean skin. Def a buy I don regret! Love it so much!
