Accutane Day 17
I started taking Accutane on Feb.2nd for my skin, and it is just a little over 2 weeks now and my skin has definitely changed...however hasn't cleared up the way I have been expecting it to. Now yes, of course I am eager and a little impatient, but my skin has started breaking out..not in cysts, but in small tiny little bumps under the skin all over. Especially around my chin and my nose and on my forehead, an area that rarely had any breakouts whatsoever. I have read that sometimes it gets worse before it gets better, and I'm just going to assume that is what's happening in my case. The only other side effect I've been having are the extremely dry lips. This is no joke. I have never depended on medicated blistex the way I am depending on it now. I have one in my purse, my jacket, and my desk at work. The skin on my lips feels SO thin. When I don't have blistex or some kind of intense moisture lip product on my lips, they feel like they're burning and one wrong move will cause them to burst and bleed....yeah. Also, my skin is dry and itchy, so fragrance free, ultra moisturizing creams are a must. This is also needed around the ears and the nose. No mood swings or changes thus far, thank goodness. I will keep updating on any progress. Xo

First Basketball Game!
I've always wanted to go to a basketball game, and naturally I wanted it to be at Madison Square Garden seeing the Knicks! I just love the energy down there on 34th street during basketball season. However, by chance my shop manager was able to score us some cheap tickets (and best believe we were pretty high up) to the Raptors vs the Spurs tonight for our monthly social (we lost! Boo!!) it was so much fun!! I even got to see Eva Longoria's ex Tony Parker who didn't miss a shot, p.s. I can't wait to see a game with Corain or even my girlfriends! I don't like beer though, which is a bit of a downside. Do they serve mixed drinks somewhere at the Air Canada Centre ?? Gin perhaps ! (LOL to Tracey's closed eyes in the court shot, didn't notice til later)

The Willis
Just when I'm pretty damn sure if not positive that I am so over coach, and their tacky collections and lack of creativity in their collections, this comes along. Flipping through the latest Glamour magazine (March 2012,Amanda Seyfried) I see this gem. This bag is absolutely up my alley. Classic lines, beautiful leather, perfect size! I love this!!

Valentines Day visit...kind of
Happy Valentines Day everyone! Single or in love, valentines day honestly isn't that big of a deal. There needn't be a day to show the person you love you love them. Corain (which is Kareem's real actual name) came down on Friday night to see me and let me tell you...by Friday night, after working 9 days straight, I was absolutely exhausted. I could barely keep my eyes open. I had been looking forward to seeing him all week, and lord knows why I was scheduled 9 days back to back, but I still had a lot to look forward to. My friend Sean hooked us up at the Sheraton hotel downtown for about $60 a night on the club floor in this gorgeous room with an amazing view. We laughed so much and it was quality time that was long overdue. We went to the movies with our friends Miguel and David and saw Safe House with Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds which was such an awesome action movie! Def recommend. We had dinner on Sunday night at Joey's Restaurant at Eatons Centre and it was quiet and cozy. He left on the earliest bus out this morning and it was sad to see him go (again..) and I'm stuck here at home with a day off and working on actual Valentines day, and it's perfectly OK with me. We are def spoiled now and looking forward to the next hotel stay at the Sheraton. Xox

Garnier Skin-Renew Anti-Dark Circle Roller (Tinted)
Hello hello! This review is one I have been putting off for way too long, because I absolutely love this product, and I want as many people as I can tell to know about it. The Garnier Skin-Renew antid-dark circle tinted roller. This product is amazing. I am not kidding. I am a big believer of under-eye creams, eye area care, eye tlc, all that. I bought this on a whim at Shopper's Drug Mart. It was on sale for $8.99 CAD. I saw it in a favorites video one night, saw it the next day, and decided to try it out. It is an under eye roller with caffeine and tinted mineral pigments to help cover dark circles. It comes in 2 shades, light and medium. I am in light..(d'uh), and was frankly ready to write this product off just because I already have a hard enough time finding my own shade in foundation. This product offers 2 shades, so this won't work, right? Wrong! This thing works fantastic! I put my foundation on as a base, totally avoiding the eye area, and this is literally ALL I use for coverage under my eyes. In terms of any anti-aging properties, I will say, that there are better options out there for under eye care. I do feel the slight tingle of the caffeine working when I apply it, thus waking that area up a bit..but that's all. The tinted pigment in here is light enough to give me this beautiful halo-ic light under my eyes which we all covet, and covers any dark circles, redness or fine lines. I have even used this for spots on my face as a concealer!! I am NOT kidding. I roll some around the sides of my nose, the corners of my mouth, my chin area. It has literally taken the place of my Kat Von D. concealer when it comes to my everyday makeup. It is such a light formula, easy to blend out and pat into the skin. I would even say........that it is comparable to YSL's Touche Eclat Radiant Touch concealer.....Yeah...Yeah I said it. Love this thing...love love love.
